Welder/Fabricator
Northern Clearing is looking to hire a full-time Welder/Fabricator Helper to work in our Ashland, WI Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
As a welder/fabricator helper your role will be to assist and weld, fabricate, and repair various items or equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques. You will be responsible to plan details of each work order and gather required tools and materials based on the instructions and specifications provided. Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment in the work area. You will also be required to perform general mechanic support throughout the shop on heavy equipment, trucks, tractors, and trailers. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Shop Manager.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will be a hard worker, have a can-do attitude, personable, punctual, and safety minded. Must have a thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding, including maintenance and repair. Will have a basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding and fabrication assignments. The successful candidate will also have a general mechanical knowledge in heavy equipment, trucks, tractors, and trailers.
