Job Description

Support student success as a paraprofessional for grades 5th and 6th in an elementary school setting located in Pacific, MO. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the educational development of young learners by providing essential classroom assistance and support.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting teachers in delivering instructional activities tailored to 5th and 6th grade students
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to enhance student understanding and engagement
• Helping manage classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting preparation of instructional materials and classroom organization
• Monitoring student progress and communicating observations as needed

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Previous experience or training in paraprofessional support, preferably in an elementary school environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students learn and succeed
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to school policies and procedures
