This is a unique opportunity to learn interesting Chemical Processes company provided training!/ppstrongShift:/strong Nights 7pm-7am 3/2 Split/ppstrongPay:/strong $23 w/$1.75 SD after training/ppKey benefits include:/pulliHealth and safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!/liliCompetitive wages with overtime opportunities./liliComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment/liliGroup 401K with company matching component./liliOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career/liliGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement./liliPositive and safe work environments/li/ulh3Key Responsibilities:/h3pEnsuring that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times./ppYou will be trained on the following:/pulliOffloads inbound tankers and performs distillation instructed by the laboratory./liliSampling of trucks to laboratory./liliCompletes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the Distillation units./liliAssures unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the Distillation units immediately upon discovery./liliAssures Distillation units are never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is not consistent with Standard Operating Procedures./liliEnsure that the processing unit is operating according to the issued guidelines and process specifications./liliDecants material pumping off excess sludge, also does a washout of still between batches to ensure no cross contamination./liliReviews all applicable SOPs and scores satisfactorily on quizzes./liliCompletes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements, as well as scanning applications./liliEnsures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures./liliEnsures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards./liliResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment./liliMaintain accurate Logs / run sheets./liliMonitor tank levels while in process using gauges and PLC monitoring equipment checking high level alarms and pumps./liliUnderstands Clean Compliance Standard./liliPerforms other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pWhat does it take to work at Clean Harbors?/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent required;/liliMust be 18 years or older;/lili1+ Years of related experience;/liliFork lift experience preferred (Not Required);/liliAbility to use computer;/liliAbility to lift 50 or more pounds;/li/ulpClean Harbors, a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
