As a Security Guard -CPO Hospital Detail Patrol in Lakeland, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This armed role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and experience to assess and address issues.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Maintain a visible presence as an armed security professional to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or hazards observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required by site protocols.
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to armed security positions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a corrections officer license.
  • Possess a law enforcement officer license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
