Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic Data Analytics team. The Scrum Master will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our IT Department, ensuring the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions. This position can be hybrid, but must be local to the Des Moines, IA area for weekly onsite work. At this time, we're not considering applicants that require immigration sponsorship (additional work authorization or permanent work authorization) now or in the future to work in the United States. This includes, but IS NOT LIMITED TO: F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J-1, etc. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to Champion the project, teams, and team members, and act as a communication bridge between product manager and development teams Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups Coach team members in Agile frameworks Facilitate effective internal department collaboration Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g., business stakeholders and vendors) Work with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs and new requests Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur Help teams implement changes effectively Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a similar field 4+ years' experience in a Scrum Master role Familiarity with software development Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) Excellent communication and servant leadership skills Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability Outstanding organizational skills Experience with CRM and ERP systems General conceptual understanding of programming and database querying Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Azure DevOps or Jira Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams Project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment Ability to manage business unit relationships Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities Ability to quickly learn new technology and systems Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours for scheduled deployments Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with Salesforce reporting Experience with API tools such as MuleSoft Knowledge of Data Governance Ability to query data to generate reports Project Management certification Physical Requirements Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Mom's Meals
