Job Description

The Project Manager will play a key role in supporting initiatives led by Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea) . This role involves organizing workshops and events, working with manufacturers and workforce organizations, and ensuring clear communication across stakeholders to advance project goals. The coordinator will handle various administrative and project-related tasks, including event planning, tracking progress on deliverables, and providing regular updates to project leads. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and skilled in fostering collaboration, focusing on delivering results for the organizations involved.

Requirements

  • Coordinate and plan workshops
  • Assist in organizing panel discussions
  • Support partner initiatives
  • Support partner events and recruit companies to participate in events
  • Coordinate Ambassador Program that connects educators and manufacturers
  • Attend events as needed

Benefits

Part-Time Contractor:

  • Estimated total time for the contract is approximately 500 hours
  • Dates: December 2024 - December 2025
  • Project Manager will keep track of hours/tasks and bill monthly.
  • The hours per week worked are variable and might be zero hours some weeks, and maybe 10-15 hours during peak times.
  • Note that while a lot of this job’s tasks can be done independently at any time during a day, some responsibilities will require work during a standard business day or during evening events.
  • Report to AMBayArea Communications & Events Manager

 

Pay:

  • $50 - $60 / hour. DOE

Total (estimated 500 hrs from 12/1/24 - 12/31/25): $25,000 - $30,000
