Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Liberty, MO

We are looking for teachers that possess skills needed and responsibility to provide children with the education and experiences needed to assure early success and school readiness. Experience and education a plus but we will train the right candidate!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is a plus!
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Communication: Keeping parents informed of program expectations, program activities, and their child’s progress is vital to the success of our program.

You must be able to listen to parents and maintain an open, friendly and cooperative relationship with them.

Open and positive communication with coworkers and management is expected at all times.

Physical Demands: The Child Care Provider is required and must be capable of the following demands: Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds, Moving and carrying of equipment and children, Sitting and playing with children on the floor, Cleaning all areas and aspects of the facility

Environmental Conditions: The Child Care Provider will be working in the following conditions: Active and very lively environment, Hot and humid conditions, Cold temperatures, Strong and sensitive odors associated with toileting and illness
