Description: Landscape Project Manager

KVKL, is seeking a Project Manager to join our practice in New York City (Financial District).
The PM will be responsible for leading landscape architectural projects from conception through completion. This role involves project planning from inception to after-care, budget forecasting and adherence, production of drawings and 3D assets pertaining to the project, collaboration with clients, design teams, and contractors, total project planning and ensuring that projects meet client expectations, adhere to budgets, and are completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Project and Design Management
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets managed
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to manage workflow and resolve issues.
· Develop and design master plans, renderings, and detailed designs aligned with a luxury aesthetic.
• Integrate architectural features (pergolas, fountains, outdoor spaces) with sustainable solutions.
• Calendar management from inception through construction, executing deliverables on time.
· Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to contract management, invoice payment with accounts payable, maintaining vendor records.
· Daily log of drawings, presentations and associated record keeping.
Budget Management
• Create, monitor, and maintain detailed project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Client Engagement
• Serve as the co-client liaison, presenting concepts, updates, and financial plans with the founder.
• Maintain proactive communication and address client feedback constructively.
Team Collaboration
• Foster a creative and an innovative environment.
• Work closely with designers, horticulturists, and consultants to integrate all project elements.
Construction Oversight
• Monitor progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications and travel to location where needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in luxury landscaping projects or luxury projects.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion and other design tools including Microsoft office.
• Project Management:
o ability to manage multi-faceted projects with an eye for detail.
o Involvement and knowledge setting timelines and reporting goals
o Ability to effectively listen and communicate appropriately to various audiences at multiple levels.
o Flexible collaborator who can effectively prioritize and work cross-functionally.
• Budget Management:
o Strong financial acumen with proven success in maintaining project budgets and exercising appropriate judgement. .
o Ability to be transparent but discreet with sensitive information
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly
• Aesthetic Sensibility: Deep appreciation for luxury design, old-world Italian sensibility, and modern landscaping trends.
• A U.S driver’s License is a must
