Employee Services seeks a passionate IT Manager to lead and develop scalable, available, and resilient SAP and cloud-based systems that support employee benefits and deliver a positive employee experience globally. This role involves delivering solutions on time and within budget, adhering to technical and operational standards. Lead and implement flexible, scalable SAP solutions (focusing on Time and Payroll) with clear, efficient, and well-documented configurations and code. Meet or exceed SLAs for Time and Payroll services. Guide the team through modernization, integration, and migration of SAP components. Manage timelines and dependencies proactively. Maintain understanding of compliance and regulatory updates related to SAP systems. Apply systems thinking to anticipate and resolve underlying problems and identify opportunities. Inspire and motivate team members to continuously improve performance. Partner effectively with business teams and stakeholders to realize business value and evolve the technical foundation. Drive momentum towards technical modernization and optimization. Expand automation for testing, build, deployment, and support activities. Provide functional and technical expertise on the SAP HR landscape. Lead changes in work practices as systems are modernized or migrated to the cloud. Engage in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, to foster continuous evolution. Enhance speed to market and development velocity. Own the production operation and monitoring of the system, ensuring adherence to SLAs. Coordinate activities with internal and external technology owners and service providers. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) 8+ years of professional experience in IT, preferably managing development teams. 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM, Time, and Payroll modules. Solutions-oriented with rigorous logic and problem-solving skills, capable of probing all sources for answers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to interact effectively at all levels. Self-learner capable of quickly acquiring new technologies and delivering tangible results. Foster a customer-obsessed, positive, and outcome-oriented culture of accountability and partnership. At least 3 years of technical leadership experience, including designing and supporting critical systems. At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OpenShift). Experience with APIs and Microservices is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Reliable, committed to quality work, with a high level of professionalism and a sense of urgency. Experience working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams. Functional knowledge of airline IT processes. Highly adaptable, a change driver, and capable of rallying teams quickly. Personal accountability, proactive in operational risk management. Effective collaboration and communication skills to improve IT domains and the overall environment. Systems thinking to understand business interdependencies and inform decision-making. Excellent judgment balancing operational risk and agility. Ability to execute with urgency.
