Hospice Director of Clinical Services

Location: Worcester, MA
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 per year + $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a top-rated hospice organization as their Director of Clinical Services . In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of clinicians, ensuring quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and organizational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Guide and mentor interdisciplinary team members, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to Federal, State, ACHC, and Hospice guidelines.
• Quality Care: Oversee terminal care management, including crisis intervention, pain control, bedside nursing, and family counseling.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Hospice Director, Hospice Physician, and Community Liaisons to drive patient care excellence.
• Patient Growth: Promote team and office performance while growing the patient base.

Qualifications

• Licensing:

  • Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Maintains current CPR certification.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing strongly preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care in hospice, home health, or community health within the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

• Skills:

  • Expertise in crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, and bedside nursing.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to provide sensitive support to patients, families, and staff.
