**_Summary of the Role:_**

The Fulfillment & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring Pet Awesome’s products are reliably made, stored, moved, and delivered to customers on time and at the lowest sustainable cost—while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

You’ll oversee demand forecasting, procurement, production, shipping, inventory management, and returns—building systems that work efficiently in a lean, international e-commerce environment. You’ll identify cost savings, optimize workflows, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

You will collaborate and iterate closely with our Key Internal Stakeholders to define deliverables, timelines, and ensure outcomes align with company goals. Collaboration will typically take place over Slack and Zoom video meetings with cameras on and occasional screen sharing when needed.

**Forecasting:**

* **Demand Planning b**
* **Inventory Balance** – Anticipate stockouts or overstocks and adjust purchasing and production plans accordingly.

**Procurement & Production:**

* **Supplier Sourcing** – Source products and materials at optimal cost, quality, and lead time.
* **Vendor Management** – Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
* Production Coordination – Coordinate production to maximize throughput, quality, and unit cost efficiency.

**Transportation & Logistics:**

* **Carrier Selection** – Select and manage shipping partners to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
* **Shipment Tracking** – Track shipments and resolve delivery issues quickly to protect customer satisfaction.

**Storage & Inventory Management:**

* **Storage Oversight** – Oversee storage solutions to balance cost, capacity, and quality preservation.
* **Inventory Control** – Maintain accurate, real-time inventory data and manage reorder points.
* **Stranded Inventory Resolution & Recovery** – Identify and recover stranded inventory from Amazon and throughout the supply chain to minimize loss and restore sellable stock.
* **Product Development:** Champion product development efforts from concept to launch in close collaboration with Key Internal Stakeholders, ensuring supply chain, quality, and cost considerations are integrated at every stage.

**Customer Fulfillment:**

* **Order Accuracy** – Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping accuracy.
* **Returns Management** – Manage returns, exchanges, and recovery processes to minimize cost-to-serve.

**Fulfillment Analytics:**

* **KPI Tracking** – Build and maintain analytics processes to track lead times, landed costs, and other KPIs.
* **Data-Driven Optimization** – Use insights to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and reduce costs.
* **Reporting** – Deliver actionable fulfillment and supply chain reports for leadership review, including cost, performance, and inventory status.

**Cost Optimization:**

* **Cost Analysis** – Produce detailed, line-item cost breakdowns by product, supplier, and shipping method.
* **Cost Reduction** – Identify and execute cost savings without harming quality or delivery times.
* Process Improvement:
* **Workflow Enhancement** – Streamline workflows, documentation, and system integrations to reduce manual work.
* **Workflow Automation:** Collaborate with the AI Automation Specialist to develop and integrate workflows into efficient automated business processes leveraging AI where applicable.
* **Collaborative Documentation Development:** Develop various forms of documentation including SOPs, video demonstrations, tutorials, playbooks and guidelines in collaboration with the Operations team to ensure comprehensive knowledge capture and accessibility to facilitate seamless hand‑offs so stakeholders can utilize your deliverables and scale your work.

**_Requirements:_**

MANDATORY:

**Experience/Background:**

* **3+ years – Fulfillment & Supply Chain Management –** Proven track record managing the end to end supply chain from procurement, production, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment in an e-commerce or related environment.
* **2+ years – Vendor & Supplier Management** – Skilled at sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and warehouses**.**
* **1+ year - LLM Usage: Utilized any LLM model**

* **Spreadsheet Modeling (Google Sheets / Excel)**
