*Job Description:*
The *Director Sterile Processing* is responsible for the Sterile Processing operations at Lynchburg General Hospital and Virginia Baptist Hospital. Manages the departmental budget, direct reports including supervisors and managers. Responsible for departmental regulatory compliance using AAMI, AORN, and IAHCSMM Standards.
*Requirements:*
· *Required* Education: Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management or a related field
· Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Healthcare Management or related field
· *Required* Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of Sterile Processing experience. Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management, Six Sigma, Organizational Behavior, and Change Management
· Preferred Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of sterile processing management experience
· *Required* Certifications and Licensures: IAHCSMM CRCST Certification within one (1) year of hire
· Preferred Certifications and Licensures: CIS, CHL Certification. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
