Job Description

Our client, a dynamic player in the hospitality industry, is seeking Banquet Servers to join their team. As a Banquet Server, you will be part of the event services team supporting memorable experiences for guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Banquet Server

Location: Greenville, NC

Pay Range: $12 per hour

Shift: Shifts all throughout the day 

What's the Job?

• Set up the banquet room as instructed by the Supervisor, ensuring all linens, service ware, and glassware are in place.
• Attend pre-event meetings to understand the function details, including guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with the Supervisor's instructions to maintain consistency throughout the event.
• Promptly clear dishes as guests finish each course and reset the banquet room for the next function.

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• HIgh School Diploma or GED Required.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room and stand for long periods of time.
• Capability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Willingness to comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements regarding serving alcoholic beverages.
