Job Description

We are in search of a Certified Activities Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and compassionate  Activities Director to lead and coordinate meaningful recreational and therapeutic activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and strong organizational skills to develop programs that enhance the quality of life for seniors in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organize, and implement a wide variety of engaging daily activities including arts and crafts, music, games, group outings, and holiday events
  2. Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of residents with varying levels of cognitive and physical ability
  3. Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships
  4. Maintain activity calendars and newsletters for residents and families
  5. Coordinate with community volunteers, entertainers, and vendors
  6. Document participation and activity attendance as required
  7. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for long-term care activities programming

Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in long-term care or senior living environment strongly preferred
  2. Certified Activity Director (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  4. Ability to inspire and motivate others in a group setting
  5. Passion for working with the elderly and making a difference in their daily lives
  6. Creativity and enthusiasm are a must!
