We are currently looking for a qualified Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a company located in Ridgeland.


Pay: $20.00/hr.


Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm


Job Responsibilities:

• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (typically 1 year preferred).
• Ability to use shipping software , scanners, and basic computer systems.
• Familiarity with inventory control and shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, labels).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and proper material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills .

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (preferred).
• Ability to use computers, scanners, and shipping software to process orders.
• Strong attention to detail when checking incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, BOLs, labels, and work orders .
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with carriers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and proper material handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Forklift experience or certification (preferred but not always required)
