Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Workday HCM Consultant to provide ongoing support and maintenance for a Global HCM system (Workday) across multiple locations. This Consultant role focuses on ensuring smooth technology operations, driving process improvements, and delivering high-quality technical support for HR-related systems and services.
Responsibilities:
System Maintenance & Support: Manage day-to-day operations, monitor system interfaces, and troubleshoot technical issues related to the HRIS system (Workday).
User Support & Guidance: Offer advisory support to module administrators and end-users to maximize the effectiveness of HRIS features.
Project Participation: Collaborate on projects involving the implementation of new modules, optimization of existing modules, and integration tasks (including requirement gathering, business process review, testing, and documentation).
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes within the HRIS system and implement solutions to improve system effectiveness.
System Enhancements: Propose new features or improvements to the system and ensure it meets the organization’s evolving needs.
Documentation & Configuration Management: Create and maintain system documentation, including configuration workbooks, process outlines, and procedures.
Data Integrity & Audits: Perform regular data audits to ensure HRIS data accuracy and compliance. Partner with IT teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
System Research & Development: Research, design, and maintain HR systems that support HR functions and related projects.
Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with both HR and IT teams to integrate business requirements into day-to-day operations and long-term system plans.
Industry Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends and apply best practices in HR technology to recommend solutions.
Cross-Functional Interaction: Engage with employees at all levels within the organization to implement, support, and maintain HR systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
At least two years of experience in an HRIS function, with a minimum of two years working with Workday.
Previous experience in the oil and gas or similar industry is a plus.
Functional HR experience or exposure to HR systems such as Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent, and Learning is preferred.

Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to present information effectively to individuals and groups.
