The School of Oceanography in the College of the Environment at University of Washington currently has an outstanding position for a full-time web developer to join the Simons CMAP ( ocean data portal project; a multi-disciplinary and long-term initiative supported by the Simons Foundation. ( The project goal is to integrate, visualize, and share large scale ocean-related data sets with the scientific community and general public. We are looking for a full-stack web specialist to contribute to both front-end and back-end development. This is not an entry-level position, and candidates must have proven experience in Node.js, React.js, SQL, and AWS. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that will have a meaningful impact on ocean research.
