TCI has an immediate need for a Remote UX/UI Designer. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable 12-month extensions. NOTE: This position requires US Citizenship and a valid Secret Security Clearance. Work is performed remotely in EST.

SUMMARY

The Remote UX/UI Designer will support our government client located in Arlington, VA. RESPONSIBILITIES Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for custom web applications. Design new user interface components for a variety of mission-critical applications. Provide expertise to meet 508 compliance standardization for applications. Assist developers with web application wireframes. Build and enhance web application navigation and graphics. Develop web application style guides and design standards. Assist developers in creating storyboards, mockups, process flows and/or phototypes to illustrate web application functionality. Gather user interface design specifications from end-users and business analysts. Communicate technical requirements for web applications to application developers. Conduct tests of user interface functionality. Participate in scrum team activities and ceremonies. REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of experience implementing and testing 508 compliance standards. 5+ years of experience/knowledge of web design standards. 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS design. 4+ years of experience with version control systems such as MS Team Foundation Server or Git. Knowledge of JavaScript and graphic design tools. Industry recognized UI/UX Certifications. MUST possess a Secret Security Clearance. Technology Consulting, Inc.
