First Shift Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm (Fridays are overtime during the busy season)Palmer Hamilton, LLC is seeking a Tube Saw Operator to join our Fabrication Team in Elkhorn, WI. This role is responsible for operating tube saws and related fabrication equipment to cut materials to precise specifications while maintaining quality standards and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and be committed to accuracy, safety, and teamwork.Key Responsibilities•Set up, operate, and maintain tube saws and other fabrication equipment to cut materials according to specifications.•Ensure quality control by inspecting materials before and after cutting to verify measurements, tolerances, and overall quality.•Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to execute accurate cutting tasks.•Monitor saw blade performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and precision.•Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.•Move materials within the department using power and manual material handling equipment.•Identify and report defects in raw materials or finished parts to the team leader or supervisor immediately.•Work collaboratively with team members to meet established production goals and schedules.•Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and company guidelines.Skills and Competencies•Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate cutting and quality control.•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routers, and production documents (preferred).•Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for measuring and calculations.•Effective communication skills to coordinate with coworkers, team leaders, and supervisors.•Ability to operate power and manual material handling equipment safely.•Mechanical aptitude for operating saws and troubleshooting minor issues.•Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.Qualifications •High school diploma or equivalent required.•1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, metal fabrication, or related environment preferred.•Experience operating saws, fabrication equipment, or similar machinery preferred.•Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced production environment.Why Join Palmer Hamilton?•Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits package.•Opportunity to work in a team-oriented, supportive environment.•Stability and growth within a leading industry manufacturer.•Career development opportunities for motivated employees.If you have experience with fabrication, saw operation, and quality control, and are looking to grow your career with a company that values craftsmanship and teamwork, we encourage you to apply today!#PM25
