Medasource is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Springfield, Ohio.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team on a 16-week contract . This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of outpatient PT experience and be confident working with orthopedic and post-surgical patients.

Patient Population:

• Orthopedic patients
• Postoperative joint replacement and rotator cuff repair
• Mild neurological conditions
• Geriatric population

Daily caseload averages 10–12 patients per 8-hour shift , consistent with standard outpatient practices.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide rehabilitative care to support mobility, strength, and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Safely assist patients using transfer equipment (Sara Steady, Hoyer).
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapist License
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable treating orthopedic, post-op, and geriatric populations

Additional Details:

• Dysrhythmia exam not required
• Pewter gray scrubs required
• ITO will prescreen; hiring manager will interview and make final offers
