A leading academic medical center in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon to join their robust and dynamic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team. This is a high-volume, high-acuity position serving a diverse urban patient population at a Level I trauma center.

Position Highlights:

• Trauma evaluations and surgical interventions
• Emergency general surgery
• Inpatient rounding and consults
• ICU care and surgical critical care
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with emergency medicine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and critical care
• Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Fellowship Trained in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma Surgery
• Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain
• ATLS certification required
