Job Description

Job Description

For $80/hr, the Trade Surveillance Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing a high volume of market surveillance alerts, typically 40 to 50 per day, generated by a dedicated platform. Each analyst manages their own alert queue, prioritizing and investigating potential issues by examining market data and identifying patterns across financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, forwards, and swaps. The role is functional rather than technical, requiring strong diligence, curiosity, and a keen eye for anomalies or recurring issues. Analysts are expected to propose improvements when surveillance models underperform and contribute to quality assurance by ensuring no critical signals are overlooked.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to [email protected] learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy:

Skills and Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a trade surveillance facing role

  • Strong knowledge of financial products (equities, fixed income, derivates, swaps, bonds, etc.)

  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to distinguish normal trading behavior from potentially problematic activity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
