Test Technician

Title: Test Technician

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality and functionality of our industrial equipment through rigorous testing and evaluation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, installation, and maintenance of various systems while providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on industrial equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and performance standards.
• Assist in the commissioning and installation of new equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to understand system layouts and functions.
• Document test results and generate reports for review by engineering and management teams.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to improve testing processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment commissioning, installation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with PC and PLC systems and their applications in testing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
