Duties may include but are not limited to: Duties will vary depending on the class specified. Hold regular office hours, so that TA can work closely with students to help them develop better Web, research, and writing skills. Be available for students outside of regular office hours for consultation. Offer Recitation Sessions for students (both synchronous and asynchronous). Help maintain the class Web site. Additional duties may include correcting tests, homework assignments, and reports; recording grades; preparing handouts for distribution; finding articles, videos, and other resources for class; preparing class materials. Qualifications: Must have: Previously taken and demonstrated understanding of the course(s) (or in its close equivalent at another college or university); Excellent interpersonal skills and an interest in learning how to teach. Ability to effectively connect with a variety of learning styles. Previous experience as a TA is strongly preferred.
