Job Description

We are excited to welcome tax professionals who have experience in one or more of the following client industries: Construction, Real Estate, Professional Athletes, Manufacturing, or Distribution. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your tax career and deepen your expertise in a niche field. Recent experience in a CPA firm is essential, and you will primarily work from our Irvine, CA location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional tax services to our valued clients.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns and all necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Identify legal deductions to maximize savings for clients.
- Organize and maintain clients' financial records.
- Provide timely answers to client questions and offer expert advice.
- Manage deadlines and deliverables across multiple clients efficiently.
- Stay informed about the latest federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Uphold the confidentiality of all personal financial information.

What We're Looking For:

- Strong computer skills with familiarity in tools such as ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, Go Systems, One Source, and Fast Tax.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; a Master's in Taxation is preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience is required.
- Experience in the Construction, Real Estate, Professional Athlete, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries is essential.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and thrive with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- CPA certification or on track for certification is preferred.
