We are currently seeking a proficient Systems Test Engineer to join our team at AEye, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing regression tests, KPI performance baselining, and calibration procedures for our cutting-edge Lidar systems. Your role will involve collecting and analyzing point cloud data, developing Engineering Validation Test (EVT) plans, and conducting Design of Experiments (DOE). Additionally, you will contribute to point cloud quality improvement initiatives, collaborate with cross- functional teams to enhance system maturity, and drive efficiency and reliability enhancements for our Lidar systems. Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

• Feature Validation
• Data collection and analysis
• Creating test plans
• Point Cloud Maturity and calibration improvement
• Creating test report and present results
• Showcase proficiency in data-driven decision-making and project

Essential Skills & Experience Requirements (required):

• Ability to analyze point cloud via system-level knowhow for accelerated troubleshooting
• Bachelors in Computer Science/EE
• Python or stong understanding of general programming concepts
• Linux, Jira, Version Control tools (Bitbucket, Github)
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting to multi-functional stakeholders
• Collaborate across SW/HW/FW disciplines

Preferred Skills & Experience (useful):

Previous experience with Lidar systems

• C++
• Experience with optoelectronics and MEMS is an added
• Experience in a fast-paced and demanding

Salary Range: $108,600-123,100
