**The role youll contribute:**

Responsible for scheduling all surgeries, pre-authorizing all surgeries, verify benefits for all pregnant patients, calculate and set-up pregnancy pre-payment plans and enter into practice management system, perform face to face financial counseling with all pregnancy and surgical patients regarding their surgical and OB pre-payment amounts. Perform other secretarial/clerical duties as requested.

**** **Schedule all surgeries and coordinate all pieces of the surgery including special equipment needs, surgical assists and other aspects of the surgery as defined by the ordering surgeon.**

**** **Obtain pre-authorization for all surgeries.**

**** **Provide patient with pre-surgical special instructions and information regarding surgery.**

**** **Contact hospital to schedule patient surgery time per physician instructions.**

**** **Ensure required testing and appointments are finalized prior to next appointment date or surgery.**

**** **Verify benefits for all pregnancy patients.**

**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:**

+ **Minimum qualifications** :

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ 3 years medical office experience required.
