Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch legal support and innovative solutions to meet the dynamic needs of our business. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to join our legal team and assist in the implementation of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.

Job Description

As a Summer Intern in Legal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of our new CLM system. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal operations, project management, and technology implementation within a global corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the configuration and customization of the CLM system to meet the specific needs of the legal department.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to gather and document requirements for the CLM system.
  • Support data migration efforts, including data cleansing and validation.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback to the project team.
  • Develop training materials and assist in training sessions for end-users.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal operations team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in legal operations and technology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience with contract management systems or legal technology is a plus.

Expeditors offers competitive compensation as described below.

Pay is $21.76 per hour.
