KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the creation of structural designs for modular steel buildings with low to medium complexity.
  • Develop 3D structural models, conduct both static and dynamic analyses, and produce technical documentation, including workshop drawings, lifting and anchoring plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to international, national, and internal standards, guaranteeing that all designs are safe, compliant, and economically viable.
  • Incorporate sound engineering practices throughout the design process.
  • Engage in project initiation and coordination meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and site engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in the evaluation and technical endorsement of workshop documentation and supplier requests for quotations (RFQs).
  • Define materials, services, and required certifications for project implementation.
  • Offer technical assistance during the fabrication and assembly phases.
  • Work closely with site managers, manufacturing, quality control, and commissioning engineers to address structural challenges and ensure safe and efficient project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical or structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in software such as Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, Creo, SCIA Engineer, anchoring design tools, and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, adaptability, and effective teamwork.
  • Experience in interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications, as well as customer requirements.
  • Familiarity with local and national building regulations.
  • Ability to research and understand new designs, technologies, and construction methods related to data center equipment and facilities.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Domestic and international travel is expected to be between 15% and 25%.
