full-time Middle School Spanish teacher to start immediately for the 2024-25 school year. Candidates must have a B.A., with an M.A. preferred. The ideal candidate for this position must be fluent in Spanish, have a master’s degree, a minimum of five years as a classroom teacher, and understand the cultural heritage of Spanish-speaking nations in our world. Experience teaching in an Independent School at the Middle School level preferred. Successful candidates have a passion for working with students and an understanding of differentiated instruction, personalized learning, and trauma-informed practices. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential.
