Located: Bonita Springs, FL
$75k-$85k base + ESPP/401k w matching + STRONG benefits
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations, and overseeing accounts receivable processes. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Experience with accounts receivable management
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Fixed Assets will be a huge bonus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
