Overview Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Principal Security Researcher to join their team. As a Principal Security Researcher, you will be part of the Security Research Department supporting advanced security initiatives and vulnerability discovery. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? Lead security research efforts focused on Linux-based, open-source Network Operating Systems deployed in networking hardware Identify and evaluate vulnerabilities in complex environments, including applications and underlying OS components Develop innovative security tools and techniques to test and improve system security Collaborate with penetration testing teams to drive impactful security enhancements for cloud-based clients Contribute to security research blogs and technical publications to share insights and findings What's Needed? Over 15 years of experience in security research, vulnerability discovery, and security initiatives Proficiency with fuzzing tools such as AFL++, libFuzzer, Honggfuzz, and Sulley Strong programming skills in Python and PowerShell; working knowledge of C/C++ and Bash Experience with Linux, SONiC, ARM, x86 architectures, Proxmox, and pfSense platforms Expertise in penetration testing, application fuzzing, and container escape techniques What's in it for me?
