In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
• Follow all company protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
