NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Scrum Master/Agile Coach to work onsite with our global client in New York City.

Responsibilities:
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Lean flow, and customer-value thinking.
  • Facilitate key events (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Help teams improve story slicing, backlog health, planning practices, and flow metrics.
  • Support teams in identifying impediments and removing blockers quickly.
  • Work with Product Owners on roadmap clarity, prioritization, and refinement practices.
  • Strengthen discovery-to-delivery practices, ensuring teams work on the right problems.
  • Promote evidence-driven decision making using metrics such as predictability, cycle time, throughput, and quality.
  • Coach leaders on Agile behaviors, governance rhythms, and portfolio alignment.
  • Support Agile transformation initiatives, new governance models, and cross-team collaboration practices.
  • Contribute to playbooks, training content, and operational frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops for planning, discovery, strategy, and team alignment.
  • Promote psychological safety and a culture of learning.
  • Help teams create sustainable, repeatable delivery habits.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP).
  • Experience working with cross-functional product or software delivery teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Monday.com, or similar tools.
  • Ability to coach at team and stakeholder levels.
  • Proven experience being about to adapt in complex environments.
  • Strong servant-leadership mindset.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in enterprise transformation or scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Flight Levels, etc.)
  • Background in product development, UX, or technical delivery.
  • Experience working in consulting environments.
