Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP in Yelm, WA.

We're currently seeking a dedicated Licensed School Speech-Language Pathologist ($58-65/hour)  to support students of all ages in the Yelm, WA area for the 2025-2026 school year .

Job Details:

• Full-time, in-person position  
• School Year Dates: August 25, 2025 – June 12, 2026   
• Setting: Elementary, Middle, or High School    

 
Role Overview:
As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Select and administer appropriate tests for a full range of speech/language disabilities
• Implement speech/language programs and maintain data collection system.
• Provide information to parents, teachers, school staff, consult with physicians, community agencies and others.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional material and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.

 
Qualifications:  

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology
• WA State ESA Certificate
• Successful experience working with children is preferred
