Job Description:
· Performs implementation and management of the enterprise records management program.
· Duties include overseeing the switch from paper to electronic record-keeping, writing reports and publications.
· Respond to enquiries and requests for information from both internal and external clients.
· Ensure that financial, legal or administrative requirements and regulations are in compliance.
· Ensure that data is protected, classifying and indexing records, destroying or archiving finished data/records, ensuring that records are easily accessible when needed, providing training to staff who require access or have responsibility for maintaining records.
· Manage user permissions to Command records with assigned collaborative systems.
· Execute searches for records throughout the Command's Collaborative environments to include SharePoint, files shares, Outlook and various other platforms.
· Provide timely and accurate search results in response to legal discovery requests.
· Report findings to directorate leadership on issues, and status of on-going requests.
· Manage historical information on the execution of assigned requests for quality assurance.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in a Library Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline and 5+ years of experience or Highschool Diploma with 8+ years experience
Job Requirements:
· 2-5 years of related records management experience.
· Knowledge in records management, expertise with document types, metadata, retention policies and business process management.
· Must have an understanding of principles of taxonomy development and integration, expertise in file plan structure and permission management, strong skills documenting procedures and systems, good problem solving, analytical and organizational skills, strong research and writing skills and must have strong communication and presentation skills.
· Must have knowledge or experience involving federal regulations regarding records management.
· Must have TS/SCI security clearance.
