Job Description

The Real Estate Account Analyst is responsible for managing financial and contract-related processes to ensure accurate landlord payments, data integrity, and compliance within the JDE Property Management system. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, contract interpretation skills, and the ability to collaborate across internal teams and with external stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead the  landlord account reconciliation process : review general ledger and sub-ledgers, verify accuracy of payments/billings, recommend adjustments, negotiate settlements, and record corrections in JDE.
• Communicate with  landlords and external stakeholders via phone, email, or correspondence regarding contract terms, account reconciliations, and payment collection solutions.
• Interpret legal contracts and documents , ensuring billing, payments, and JDE data align with contract requirements.
• Update JDE system with corrections impacting billing, payments, and FAS13 financial adjustments.
• Administer multiple  recurring monthly financial processes , including escalations, terminations, and detection/correction of data inaccuracies.
• Support  special accounts, data integrity reports, and exception projects requiring detailed analysis.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of  JDE tables, data flow, and required field use for recurring billing, escalations, and FAS13 processing.
• Ensure all adjustments are completed under strict  monthly financial deadlines .

Education/Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements

• 1–2 years of  accounting experience
• Experience reviewing  legal real estate contracts strongly preferred
• 2+ years working in a  fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

Other Skills/Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents
• Skilled at handling multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines
