Responsibilities The High Frequency Measurements (HFM) organization of Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA has an opportunity for a summer internship in the R&D Software Engineering Processes (SEP) Team. The HFM organization develops and produces the world's highest performance signal generators, signal analyzers, network analyzers, power meters and modular systems to create and analyze wireless signals. Our SEP engineers develop software tools and processes to qualify our market-leading Signal Analyzers, Signal Sources, and Electronic Measurement Applications. They work with manufacturing, software development and SEP teams in other geographies world-wide. Intern projects will typically involve working with these teams with the goal of improving our quality processes, verification techniques and reducing time to market. Example projects and experiences may include:

• Designing and developing C# based utilities and tests to verify the capabilities of signal analysis and signal generator software/hardware.
• Implementing or enhancing web applications related to software quality and testing.
• Learning and applying modern software engineering practices such as Agile Scrum, unit testing, usability testing, and continuously integrated builds.
• Gaining hands-on knowledge of Test & Measurement instrument control.
• Identifying key areas for AI integration in Testing & QA.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will be pursuing a BSCS / BSCSE or equivalent degree. Desired Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong software analysis and design knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, .NET, C++, C#, OO, XML, HTML, SQL databases.
• Possible experience in one or more of the following: software testing, software test paradigms, software development best practices, quality metrics, continuous integration, and unit testing.
• An interest in RF technologies and measurement applications.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in software testing and quality assurance.
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
