Job Description

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inspection activities, including in-process, receiving, CMM testing/programming, and tool and gauge control, while adhering to schedules and requirements
• Ensure compliance by auditing inspection and calibration records, reviewing procedures, and updating documentation as necessary, while addressing non-conformances (NCR) and implementing corrective actions (RCCA)
• Interpret and utilize blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to meet government or contractual requirements, while recommending improvements in inspection methods, gauges, and equipment
• Optimize manpower and minimize costs by balancing inspection demands with overtime requirements, while providing timely updates on potential delays or trends to management

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
• At least 10 years of experience in quality-related roles or equivalent, along with a strong understanding of AS9100 standards and their requirements
• Over 5 years of experience enhancing business process performance and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing with visual management techniques
• Proven ability to drive projects to completion through effective teamwork, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Salary: $110K - $140K
