Job Description

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage inspection activities, including in-process, receiving, CMM testing/programming, and tool and gauge control, while adhering to schedules and requirements
Ensure compliance by auditing inspection and calibration records, reviewing procedures, and updating documentation as necessary, while addressing non-conformances (NCR) and implementing corrective actions (RCCA)
Interpret and utilize blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to meet government or contractual requirements, while recommending improvements in inspection methods, gauges, and equipment
Optimize manpower and minimize costs by balancing inspection demands with overtime requirements, while providing timely updates on potential delays or trends to management

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
At least 10 years of experience in quality-related roles or equivalent, along with a strong understanding of AS9100 standards and their requirements
Over 5 years of experience enhancing business process performance and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing with visual management techniques
Proven ability to drive projects to completion through effective teamwork, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Salary: $110K - $140K
