Overview: Teletherapy Opportunity for Licensed Therapists
We are looking for compassionate, dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW-A), Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC-A) to join our dynamic teletherapy team. This is a great opportunity for mental health professionals who are passionate about helping individuals manage and overcome anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. You'll have the flexibility to work from home while providing valuable care to individuals across North Carolina.
About the Role:
Position: Independent contractor (Fee-for-service)
Schedule: You choose your hours—work on your own schedule, with recurring sessions during times that are convenient for you.
Supervision: You will be supported by a Licensed Therapist, ensuring that you receive guidance while managing and treating your clients.
Scope of Practice:
Provide counseling, psychotherapy, and follow-up treatment sessions.
Utilize various psychotherapy approaches (CBT, ACT, MI, IPT, psychodynamic therapy) tailored to meet each patient's needs.
Offer behavior modification strategies and collaborate with case management to ensure comprehensive care.
Use data-driven methods to track and respond to clients' progress in treatment.
Adapt your approach based on each client's preferences and goals.
Special Certifications (Not Required but a Plus):
Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Spanish-speaking proficiency
Requirements:
A strong sense of independence and good judgment when providing care.
Previous experience working with the military population is not required, but is a plus.
Solid crisis management skills and the ability to handle a variety of clinical situations.
Comfort with using EMR systems and remote communication technology.
A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to treating patients with mental health challenges.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
No history of medical malpractice claims (verified by a third party).
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Have access to a private, functional workspace for teletherapy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active license with at least 1 year of post-licensure experience.
Experience with evidence-based psychotherapies.
Must reside in North Carolina.
