What You'll Do
As a Pre-Construction & Estimating Project Manager, you'll play a key role in business development, estimating, and pre-construction planning. Your efforts will ensure seamless project transitions while delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Sales Management: Develop competitive budgets and estimates for projects ranging from $1M-$5M, contribute to bid calendars, and maintain strong client relationships.
Project Coordination: Work closely with the estimating team to gather vendor and subcontractor proposals, clarify scopes, and manage RFIs and submittals.
Financial Oversight: Ensure proposals align with target gross margins and maintain profitability throughout the buyout phase.
Industry Standards Compliance: Stay updated on brand standards, ADA regulations, and design requirements to ensure estimates meet operational and compliance needs.
Information Management: Conduct on-site and digital takeoffs, organize project contacts, and maintain accurate records.
Client Engagement: Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and project kick-off events to enhance satisfaction and retention.
What You Bring
3-6 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with general contractors or subcontractors is highly preferred, with hotel construction or tenant improvement experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in estimating and project management software, as well as Microsoft 365.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to manage complex processes with accuracy.
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to evolving project demands.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and client meetings.

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $135,000 (Final salary based on skills, experience, and qualifications).
