The Program Technician in the Imaging and Record Services Program, Records Section, is responsible for imaging documents and fingerprint cards received from courts and law enforcement agencies into Integra and JEDI systems, processes folder requests from various programs within the Department via the Folder Control System. This is an entry and training level position. As trainees, under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform increasingly difficult duties of a semi-technical nature. When incumbents become proficient in their duties, they work under general supervision and guidelines.

This position is designated for telework under Government Code section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California and may require reporting to headquarters or field offices and facilities to fulfill operational needs. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the Department of Justice policies.
This position is eligible for telework, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
The current hours for this position is 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. May change to 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the future.
