Job Title: Product Owner – CIAM & Entra (Identity and Access Management)

Location: Issaquah, WA (onsite for 3 days per week)

W2 Contract

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our digital identity initiatives. This role will drive secure, seamless, and scalable customer identity experiences across our digital ecosystem, ensuring compliance, usability, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for CIAM and Entra-based identity solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including architecture, engineering, security, and business stakeholders — to deliver high-impact identity features and enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with enterprise IAM policies, compliance standards, and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) .
• Work closely with Microsoft Entra and CIAM platform teams to optimize authentication, authorization, MFA, SSO, and lifecycle management workflows.
• Monitor KPIs such as authentication success rate, customer onboarding time, and security incident metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current with IAM trends and technologies (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO2, password-less, adaptive authentication).
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams for all CIAM/Entra-related initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring transparency around priorities, progress, and risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership roles, with strong experience on Identity and Access Management (IAM/CIAM) .
• Hands-on understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , OAuth 2.0 , OpenID Connect , SAML , and MFA/SSO .
• Proven ability to work within Agile teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder product backlogs.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both technical and business audiences.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager , CSPO , or equivalent Agile certification.
• Familiarity with customer data privacy frameworks and security best practices .
• Experience integrating CIAM with CRM, ERP, or marketing platforms .
• Exposure to password-less authentication , risk-based access , or adaptive MFA solutions.
