R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is a full service plumbing and HVAC contractor that employs specific systems, the latest techniques, and our professional team to produce value driven solutions, with the intent to provide our customers with guaranteed great service.

We are currently seeking a Plumbing Renovations Supervisor. This role is primarily hands-on, requiring extensive plumbing skills with occasional leadership responsibilities to support the Plumbing Renovations Manager.

This position will take charge of plumbing renovation projects in the field, working directly to install, repair and upgrade plumbing systems. You will be responsible for the hands-on work of the project, ensuring tasks are completed according to specification and timelines. While you will be leading your own jobs in the field you will also provide support to the Plumbing Renovations Manager by providing updates, ensuring quality and occasionally guiding other team members when needed.

Schedule is Monday through Friday start time of 7:30 am with occasional Saturdays. This position pays $25-$30 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing tasks related to renovations, including pipe replacements, system upgrades, fixture installations and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the project is progressing on schedule, maintaining the quality of work and address any issues as they arise
• Interact with clients to ensure they are satisfied with progress, answer questions and resolve any issues, maintain a positive relationship with clients
• Ensure all plumbing meets safety standards
• Maintain a safe, organized and clean worksite
• Assist the manager with updates, timelines and reporting
• Lead by example with your technical expertise in all aspect of the plumbing job
• Address any plumbing issues that arise during renovation projects, finding practical and efficient solutions to keep the job on schedule
• Provide guidance or assist apprentices or less experienced team members as needed on the job site

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and codes
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
