Pharmacy Technician - Specialty Pharmacy at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Pharmacy Technician in Specialty Pharmacy supports pharmacists by performing drug distribution, compounding, record keeping, and clerical tasks under supervision. The role requires completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program and a Washington Pharmacy Technician License, with preference for hospital pharmacy experience. $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment

This position is responsible for supporting the practice of pharmacy, performing delegated tasks, and performing drug distribution, compounding, record keeping, and clerical activities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program
  • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of hospital pharmacy experience
