Job Description

To be successful in the role you will be responsible for assisting with high-volume weekly payroll processing. In this role, you’ll ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll according to weekly and bi-weekly payroll deadlines, may also include preparing certified payrolls to job sites as needed.
• Process and manage weekly payroll for a large number of employees.
• Review and verify timecards, hours worked, and deductions.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and organized payroll records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.

Keys:

• Previous payroll processing experience & Comfortable handling high volume payroll
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• MUST HAVE experience in processing FULL payroll from start to finish
• Knowledge and understanding of US laws and rules when it comes to the standards of processing payroll, withholding rules, tax remittance, benefit deduction, and garnishment rules
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office
