Employment Type:Full timeShift:Evening ShiftDescription:St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an Patient Transporter to join our team! Schedule: Full Time with Rotating Holidays and Weekends, shift 1:30pm - 10pmTransports patients within the Medical Center.Observes for and reports safety hazards and broken vehicles to the Lead Transporter for immediate repair.Transports patients on stretchers, beds and wheelchairs from one area of the hospital to designated area within the hospital campus, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient being transported.Promptly reports any concerns of patients and/or happenings during transport to appropriate personnel.Cooperatively assists in lifting patients in and out of bed as requested, exercising proper lifting techniques.Cleans wheelchairs and ensures each area has an adequate number.Keeps incident log of transports.Performs all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma/EquivalentCPR Certification - issued by AHAFingerprint & Child Abuse History Clearance (completed in onboarding if offered the position)What We Offer:Medical, Dental, & Vision CoverageRetirement Savings ProgramPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementFree ParkingAnd more!Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
