Job Summary The PACS Administrator manages and ensures timely and complete capture of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) digital image data into the PACS system. Manages network transmission, Radiology Information Systems validation (RIS), and Cardiology Information Systems validation. Is responsible for backing up the RIS Administrator. Pay Range Minimum $45.72 Midpoint $60.58 Maximum $75.43 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.   • Required: Minimum four (4) years of related experience in Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) management.
  • Preferred: Previous Fuji and Siemens PACS experience.
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent successful completion of a High School Proficiency Exam.
  • Preferred: Certified PACS Interface Analyst exam (CPIA) and the Certified PACS System Manager exam (CPSM). Bachelor's degree in a related health-care discipline or information systems discipline.
Training
  • Required: None Required
  • Preferred: Familiar with specific radiology and/or Cardiology applications such Fuji PACS and Siemens PACS systems. Familiar with Cerner RadNet integration
