Adecco has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse in East Durham, NY .
Pay Rate: The anticipated wage for this position is between $79 - $80.
Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive health services to employees within a manufacturing setting. This includes treating injuries and illnesses, conducting health assessments, promoting health and safety practices, and complying with occupational health regulations. Additionally, his role collaborates with management to develop health policies and programs that enhance workplace safety and employee well-being. The site nurse will have knowledge of EHS compliance programs to ensure compliance with regulations governing safety and health for workers and the work environment including but not limited to Workers Compensation, OSHA, Ergonomics and Hearing protection.
Qualifications:
• Active RN license
• COHN certification or relevant occupational health experience preferred
• Prior nursing experience in an industrial or corporate setting is a plus
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Conducting pre-employment and periodic health assessments
• Providing first aid and emergency care for workplace injuries
• Administering medications and monitoring employee health conditions
• Promoting health education and safety practices
• Managing workers’ comp claims and coordinating return-to-work programs
• Supporting ergonomic initiatives and emergency response readiness
• Maintaining accurate, confidential records using Cority EMR
