Job Overview:
Midwestern IT Inc. is seeking a Junior Business Analyst who is eager to begin a career in business analysis and requirements management. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience who are passionate about understanding business processes, analyzing data, and supporting technology-driven solutions. The Junior Business Analyst will work closely with senior business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to help deliver high-quality business and IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear documentation
• Create and maintain business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), and use cases
• Support requirement walkthroughs, reviews, and validation sessions
• Assist in preparing process flows, diagrams, and basic data analysis
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements during the SDLC
• Participate in meetings, sprint planning, and requirement discussions
• Help track requirement changes and maintain documentation version control
• Follow business analysis standards, best practices, and organizational processes

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent training)
• Fresher or 0-3 years of experience in business analysis, internships, or academic projects (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Basic understanding of SDLC concepts
• Familiarity with business analysis fundamentals and requirement-gathering techniques
• Knowledge of tools such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or similar documentation tools
• Exposure to tools like JIRA or Confluence is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment
